"TEA PARTY TABLE"

There is nothing prettier to me(besides my grandchildren!lol) than a table set for a tea party. This is my dining room table all set and ready for 8 guests. We will have Victorian chicken salad on croissants, pasta salad served in pink and green depression glass sherbets, mini scones with blackberry butter, green seedless grapes, and finally a special dessert of fairy cakes drizzled with icings of pink and green. To drink you ask? Raspberry Iced Tea, Victoria's Treasure Earl Grey or Darjeeling Hot Tea, or freshly brewed coffee. Each guest will take home a bag of pink chocolate covered pretzels tied with a pink ribbon & white chocolate rose candies. It will be sweet afternoon of fun chit chatting, laughing & just catching up with my family.

Beautiful setting. I have never heard of Victorian chicken salad, what is it? It all sounds delicious and the pretzels sound so pretty. Love it all.

I just found your blog by searching for Country Victorian magazine....Thank you,Thank you for reminding me just how much I love Victoriana.

I get lost in the whole Shabby chic cottage and forget how to incorporate my true love....Victorian.

I own a new Victorian inspired home and have always been drawn to these homes.

I am having a hard time decorating ans keep going back and forth.....your home has given me true inspiration and I cannot wait to see it in the magazine.

and your dolls....LOVE them. I own one just like you. An old Horsman "Baby Dimples" and she too has almost green(tarnished) eyes..sort of spooky but wonderful at the same time.

Off to visit your Etsy shop :)

OH MY!!! Such an incredibly beautiful table you have created...and the menu, WOW! Would you by any chance care to share the recipe for blackberry butter? Sounds soooo delish. I would feel so treasured and pampered at a tea like this - you have outdone yourself!
