I adore Vintage Things!

I just want to make sure everyone can see the entire dress!!! I know I am running this into the ground but I just love sharing!!!

I Adore Vintage Things!

This is a close up the rhinestone brooch I added to the vintage prom gown. I think it was just waiting for this gown!!! I would add all these pictures together but I haven't figured it out yet!!!

Vintage prom gown, gloves & hat!

This blue vintage prom gown is out of this world gorgeous!!! When I saw it at the antique shop I was on my way to the restroom....I almost wet my pants when I saw it......really, I did!!! I grabbed it & hung it outside the restroom door and was sooo afraid someone else would get it!!! I have never tinkled so fast in my life!!! Anyway, this dress is the most beautiful shade of blue!! I added the brooch, the hat and the gloves to complete the ensemble....already had all those items!!! It really makes a beautiful display on the wire mannequin. BTW....that's Roosevelt checking out the dress...it had been there for weeks but he had to check it out when he saw I was taking pictures!! He is so funny!!!

Aqua Vintage Prom Dress

I am in love with vintage prom dresses!!! They are so tiny!! They are so full of ruffles!! They are so feminine!!! They are.....well you get the picture!!! I love to glam them up a bit with vintage rhinestone brooches and I have been lucky enough to find gorgeous, vintage hats to match!! I don't think the girls who wore these gowns wore a hat with them but it sure does make a good display!! I am just such a romantic when it comes to decorating and displaying my things. I am really passionate about it. I will tweak and tweak until I think it looks just right. Does that make me a 'romantic tweaker'????? LOL

I Adore Vintage Things!

Isn't this book beautiful??? I have several vintage books with portraits of beautiful ladies on the front cover. To me, they just seem so special!! I have recently been trying to find vintage, rhinestone clocks but this is the only one I have run across. I was really looking for pink clocks but when I saw this aqua one, I just had to have it!! The glove box that I have the book and clock displayed on is absolutely wonderful!! This picture doesn't do it justice at all. I will have to take more picture of this beauty to post. The lady I purchased it from said it was from the 1800's!!
