I NEED SOME INSPIRATION!!!

I am having one of those weeks!! I was sick last week, got a shot, felt better, babysat 3 of my granddaughters for a couple of days and started feeling sick again! My poor hubby got sick the same day I did and he is still feeling bad. I don't really feel that bad now, I just feel blah!!! I don't feel bad enough to be in the bed but I don't feel well enough to do anything. Heaven only knows how much I have to do...paint the laundry room, touch up walls in other rooms, dust, work in the yard, go to the antique shops and rearrange my booths!!! It's also cloudy and cool here which adds to my blah feeling. I have been searching the web for inspiration but have found nothing that appeals to me right now. Help me!!!

Hi Sherry, glad my Valentine Scrooge post made you laugh! I love laughing at myself, makes life fun in the light of not so great circumstances. I know how you're feeling, I've sure been there before. I find if I pop around on Etsy & Flickr one evening with a couple glasses of good red wine the fog starts to lift and I've ended up sometimes getting so inspired that I then can't go to sleep so maybe do it earlier in the day but not too early cause drinking too early in the morning isn't probably a good thing. God bless, Laura

Sherry, I am absolutely of no help to you. Girl, you are my inspiration! I love looking at your gorgeous home! I am happy to hear you are feeling better. Have you visited Mo's Cottage? Her blog is a favorite of mine. Her home is beautiful and she is a very sweet lady. HOpe your hubby is better. Rest well and God bless!

Hi Sherry,
Sorry you have been feeling bad & glad you are better & hope hubby is on the mend too.
I have been sick more this winter than any other that I can remember. I am so ready for spring!!
Thank you for your sweet comments. I do belive we could have been sisters too. Maybe spring will bring us the inspiration we need.
I have so much painting etc. to get done too.

It's like a slap in the face!!!

After reading the sweet comments from Laura, Mary & Vicki, I am feeling better already! I was reading some new posts on different blogs and realized how thankful I should be for everything and everyone in my life. I guess, I, like most, take life for granted, get in a rut from time to time & then think all should be well & happy in my little life. It's like a slap in the face when you read about other peoples' hardships..such as an illness or cancer or losing a child or other loved one. So what if I have a few days where I'm not feeling really well or creative!! At least I have my life, my health, my husband, my children, my grandchildren & lots of other important people and relatives. I should be thankful for each second..I am not promised another day or even another breath in this life. I guess just writing it all down made me realize how grateful I really am for this life God gave me & I have no room for complaints or feeling down. Thank goodness for blogging!!! (and above all, for God!!!)
love, Sherry

Keep on resting or doing something simple until you recover your bounce and the you can zoom along again - glad you had time to count your blessings!

Sherry, First I want to say your Madison is so precious!
I think this time of year when spring is not far off it is not hard to feel a little uninspired! I was there too a few days ago and then got outside and stated walking again. There a touches of springs arrival everywhere! Hope you have found yours by now! Hugs, Stephani
