Madison at 4 years old!!

This is Madison when she was 4 years old. These were taken on March 7, 2004. She just turned 10 on Jan. 12th, this year. This is why I always tell young mothers to enjoy their babies each and every moment. It seems like yesterday that she wanted to dress up all frilly and frou-frou! She occasionally will dress-up here at Mimi's but she would not dare be seen in public with a boa around her neck much less a tu-tu or wings!! She is still as adorable but I miss this babyish side of her!!

I NEED SOME INSPIRATION!!!

I am having one of those weeks!! I was sick last week, got a shot, felt better, babysat 3 of my granddaughters for a couple of days and started feeling sick again! My poor hubby got sick the same day I did and he is still feeling bad. I don't really feel that bad now, I just feel blah!!! I don't feel bad enough to be in the bed but I don't feel well enough to do anything. Heaven only knows how much I have to do...paint the laundry room, touch up walls in other rooms, dust, work in the yard, go to the antique shops and rearrange my booths!!! It's also cloudy and cool here which adds to my blah feeling. I have been searching the web for inspiration but have found nothing that appeals to me right now. Help me!!!

Sweet Girls!!

My sweet little granddaughters love playing outside as most kids do! Raven is 6 yrs. old and Brooklyn is 4 yrs. old. Brooklyn loves to dress up in tutus so when I found this one recently at T.J. Maxx, I had to buy it!! I also found one at Marshall's before Christmas and forgot about it. It was really great that I had 2 because she didn't want to take it off so I could wash it!! I love the ages that the girls are now...so innocent and fun. We had a wonderful time together. I let them plant flower seeds and get all dirty from the potting soil. Madison is 10 and she was inside playing games on the computer. She finally came outside for a while to ride her bike. I can't believe the changes in her.....not a baby anymore. She was always such a little princess and always had to wear a tiara and frilly clothes. I miss the way she was but know that she is growing up. It seems that children mature so much sooner now and it really is sad. They are children for such a short time.

....more pink and green!!!!

Here are more pictures of pink & green in my house. This is Raven when she was a year old. I found the little ceramic baby in the flower pot and had to get it because it reminded me of this picture! Raven will be 7 years old on March 10th! I just can't get over how quickly time goes by!!!

I love pink and green together!!!

Don't you??? Different shades of pink and different shades of green together are just so darn pretty!! I fell in love with this vintage, ruffled crinoline when I saw it!! It matched my other things so well. It had to come home with me & take its place in this little corner of my home.
