This year is just flying by, isn't it? I love the spring when all the flowers are waking up & showing their pretty little faces.

There is a tiny, little bunny that I see playing in my front yard sometimes. I have tried to take his picture but he is so scared & when he catches me with my camera, he quickly hops away to safety. I leave lettuce and carrots out for him & it is always gone the next day. I don't know if it is him eating it or the deer that frequent our yard. I always wonder where his mommy is & why he is alone....kind of sad, isn't it? If he only knew that I would love him & feed him & take care of him......but that's not the way God made him & there is no way he could know that so I made this little collage of Easter and spring pictures in his honor.

Also, in case you have noticed that I have been missing in action...I have had bronchitis and an upper respiratory infection for 5 weeks now. I am finally feeling better but still have a terrible cough. I am doing great, though and am happy for all God's blessings.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!!! CATHY SCALISE OF TREASURE HEIRLOOMS HOSTED An "AMOUR VALENTINE SWAP". HERE IS THE BEAUTIFUL VALENTINE BOX THAT I RECEIVED FROM JENNIFER OF JENN'S PETAL PALACE: It is so pretty...covered in one of my favorite fabrics ever...roses & teapots!! It has beautiful trims of ribbons & ruffled crepe paper & the top is embellished with beautiful roses! Inside the box was filled to the brim with all these lovelies:little heart boxes that look like cakes in lavender & pink, a heart wand, a beautiful salt & pepper shaker set with handpainted roses, a lovely handpainted pillow, a hand vase to add to my collection...with handpainted roses & even a handpainted doily hanging! I love everything! She really spoiled me rotten!! ohhhh, & not pictured...a box of candy!!!

"IT WAS A SWEET, SWEET DAY"....A few of us girls went to Marietta to visit our friend, Rosalyn-Sue for a day of shopping & crafting!

She spoiled us rotten!! First we had lunch & got to meet her wonderful mom & grandmother! We then went shopping on the square at a couple of antique shops & a great scrapbook shop. After that, we made a quick stop at Starbucks & then back to Rosalyn-Sue's to make these beautiful Valentine boxes. Not only did she supply EVERYTHING to make these gorgeous boxes but she provided us with beautiful candies to fill them up! She made beautiful cupcakes & macaroons & cheese straws for us to munch on while making our Valentine boxes. Oh my goodness...you should see her killer craft studio!! It is so beautiful & so well organized. My pictures of the girls & her studio turned out fuzzy but hopefully I can get some from the other better photographers & share them with you later!
