"TEA PARTY TABLE"

There is nothing prettier to me(besides my grandchildren!lol) than a table set for a tea party. This is my dining room table all set and ready for 8 guests. We will have Victorian chicken salad on croissants, pasta salad served in pink and green depression glass sherbets, mini scones with blackberry butter, green seedless grapes, and finally a special dessert of fairy cakes drizzled with icings of pink and green. To drink you ask? Raspberry Iced Tea, Victoria's Treasure Earl Grey or Darjeeling Hot Tea, or freshly brewed coffee. Each guest will take home a bag of pink chocolate covered pretzels tied with a pink ribbon & white chocolate rose candies. It will be sweet afternoon of fun chit chatting,laughing & just catching up with my family.

CAN YOU TELL that I love dolls? I have been a doll collector for about 22 years now. I have sold part of my collection, the newer ones. I am more focused on vintage or antique babies now. They have such character! I love them all! I have some of them displayed in a vintage, European crib & some of them just sitting around here & there. I have a new purchase that isn't shown here. I am cleaning her & trying to find her a beautiful dress to wear. She doesn't have her legs but she is still so pretty!! I don't care that the babies aren't in the best shape, I just think they are all so very sweet!

I AM STILL SOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THE UPCOMING ISSUE OF "COUNTRY VICTORIAN MAGAZINE"!! I AM HONORED TO SAY THAT MY HOME IS GOING TO BE FEATURED! (I previously did a post about this) THE MAGAZINE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE SHELVES BY SEPTEMBER 9TH BUT THERE HAVE BEEN SOME DELAYS SO NOW IT WILL BE COMING OUT EITHER SEPTEMBER 22ND OR 29TH! MY FRIENDS CANNOT BELIEVE HOW CALM I HAVE BEEN ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION....NOT JUST THE DELAY BUT THE ENTIRE FACT THAT MY HOUSE IS BEING FEATURED....A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME!! I JUST TELL THEM THAT I FEEL LIKE A CHILD WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS...ALL THE ANTICIPATION & EXCITEMENT...AND THEN THE BIG DAY ARRIVES & IT'S OVER BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!! THAT'S THE ONLY WAY I CAN EXPLAIN IT! WITH THAT BEING SAID, I HAVE TO WORK ON OTHER GOALS IN MY LIFE, SUCH AS MY ETSY SHOP "ANGELS & CRYBABIES" & ANOTHER SHOP I AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON THAT WILL CONSIST OF BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN & SHABBY ELEGANT CORSETS & CLOTHES TO DISPLAY ON YOUR WALLS. I HAVE ALREADY MADE SOME OF THE ITEMS BUT I DON'T WANT TO OPEN MY SHOP UNTIL AFTER "COUNTRY VICTORIAN" MAGAZINE IS OUT. IT'S GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN! I LOVE CREATING AND YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE VICTORIAN!!

This is a picture of one of my very favorite places to shop! I have been shopping here for years! It is located in Milton, Florida which is also the home of my dear in-laws. This is Kim, the owner. She is such a wonderful lady. I love seeing her each time I get to shop there. She is so helpful and always trying to help me find the treasures she knows I am seeking!! This is Jennifer, a sweet friend of mine. She visited me at the condo in Florida. We literally shopped 'til we dropped!!!lol I enjoyed her visit. She is such a sweet lady!
