"WHERE BLOGGERS CREATE, II" HOSTED BY KAREN VALENTINE

This is my studio where I love to create. It is where I spend most of my time when I am at home. I have decorated my studio in my favorite style, which I call "Cottage Chic Victorian". It is a mixture of frills and lacey things such as decorated dress forms, a pale aqua sideboard with drawers full of supplies and adorned with some of the things I love on top. I think your studio should reflect the person you are and the things you treasure.  It makes creating so much easier when you are in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. So here is my studio space and some of the things I have made. I love to participate in art events and art swaps. I collect dress forms and have probably 25 throughout my home. I love to use them in my studio to display some of the beautiful tags, paper dolls, etc. that I have received from fellow swappers. It is just incredible to me to have found so many amazing & talented people in this world and to be able to share the creative blood with them. I am still working on adding shelves in my studio but I have not yet found exactly what I am looking for!! When I do, I will share it with you. MY PICTURES ARE BACK! I AM HERE AT THE BEACH IN NAVARRE, AGAIN!! THIS IS THE SCENE FROM MY BALCONY. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL! HOPEFULLY IT WILL STAY THAT WAY & THE OIL SPILL WILL NOT CAUSE TOO MANY PROBLEMS! WISH YOU WERE HERE!!

For  some reason my pictures are not showing! Don't know what happened!!! They were here when I did this post!! I have tried to add them again and I keep getting the message "failed" so I guess I will have to wait until I get back home to try again. I guess it's just a connection issue here.

Anyway, it is really beautiful here and we are praying that it will stay that way! It's really awful to think that these beautiful white beaches could be covered in black oil soon!
